Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Totally invisible formula leaves no white cast, making it perfect for all skin tones.
  • Velvety, gel-like texture doubles as a makeup primer, smoothing skin and helping makeup last longer.
  • Provides broad-spectrum SPF 40 protection against both UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.
  • Oil-free and water-resistant for up to 40 minutes.

Cons

  • Very expensive for the amount of product you get, especially since sunscreen must be applied generously.
  • Uses chemical filters which can cause irritation or allergic reactions in people with very sensitive skin.
  • The heavy silicone base can feel slick and may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to silicones.
  • Contains octocrylene, a filter that some people prefer to avoid due to rare skin sensitivities and environmental concerns.
